For the past two years, I stepped away from direct client work to manage a team of travel advisors behind the scenes. During that time, I stayed connected — making sure many of you were matched with agents I trusted, and that your trips still had my attention where it counted.

Now, I’m back to doing what I’ve always loved: designing exceptional travel, one client at a time.

About Me

I'm Byron Rounds—dad of four, husband, and traveler who believes exploring the world is one of the best ways to connect deeply with life.

For over 14 years, I've planned trips for people who value thoughtfully designed, comfortable travel. I've booked everything from family safaris and romantic anniversaries to food-focused getaways and memorable private villas. Exceptional hotels? Definitely—I love them, and I know what makes them great.

Travel is a big part of my life. I've traveled solo, with toddlers, with a crew of kids, often with a guitar, and even once with a yoga mat. Mostly, though, I'm a dad who loves helping my kids see and appreciate the beauty, culture, and adventure that travel offers (whether they like it or not!).

That's why I created roundstheworld. It's my way of sharing what I've learned along the way—helping you find the right hotel in Tokyo, the ideal guide in Morocco, or just making sure your next trip feels right.
